Lloyd Warman
President & CEO
Lloyd started his information management career more than 35 years ago when he stored pictures of documents with high-resolution video recorders in 1968 at Ampex Corp. Now, after playing a key management role in three other very successful start-ups and turning two companies around, he is providing the vision and strategic direction for Liberty IMS, which he founded in 1987. Lloyd left Ampex for Atari, where he was the VP of engineering and operations in the early stages of the company. Over the next several years, he worked as the VP of operations for two more start-up companies, including M.D.A. Ltd. and Vitalink Communications Corp. Lloyd earned both his bachelor and master of applied science in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia.
Ken Polzen
COO & CFO
Ken assumed the responsibilities of the chief operating officer at Liberty IMS in 2000 with 35 years of business and technical experience in delivering software-intensive solutions to a wide variety of commercial ventures. Prior to joining Liberty IMS, he was a senior program manager responsible for multi-million dollar contracts with the Transportation Management Systems and Air Traffic Control Systems Divisions of Raytheon Systems Canada. He earned a bachelor of applied science in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia and a master of computing science and electrical engineering from MIT.
Steve Lehrer
VP, Business Development
For more than 20 years, Steve has participated in the evolution of many technologies affecting storage and communications. Steve is a co-founder of Liberty IMS and provides business development and technical specifications for new features. He is also instrumental in contract negotiations. Previously, he managed technical services for Gateway Computer Inc.'s 10 locations. Steve also influenced the corporate culture at Corning Inc., implementing various database and process control systems. He earned a B.S. in statistics and economics from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Russell Henderson
CTO & Chief Software Architect
Russ authored the company's core technology platform: a state-of-the-art, open architecture, distributed enterprise content management platform grounded in object-oriented technology. Russ is a senior executive with over a 25-year track record for delivering innovative software solutions into consumer and business communities alike. Russ joined Liberty IMS in 1988. Previously, he led the consumer products development group at ShareData, Incorporated. As CTO Russ defines and directs the company's technology strategy, design and development initiatives. In addition to exploring future technological developments, Russ implements agile processes to automate operations that enable timely completion of large-scale software projects. He shares with customers and partners the company's vision of bringing highly flexible, enterprise-class information asset management solutions easily and affordably to everyone.
Bruce Malyon
VP of Sales, East
Bruce has 11 years of industry experience in sales and channel development. Bruce joined Liberty IMS in early 1999 and opened the international office in Ottawa, Canada. He currently supervises sales activity for the Eastern U.S., Canada, Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific. Bruce has a B.A. in economics from Carleton University in Ottawa. He is also a Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA) trained professional.
Lee Triebwasser
VP of Sales, West
With more than 15 years in domestic and international sales management, Lee has experience in all facets of wholesale and channel sales. Currently, he manages the sales team in the Western U.S., and develops the partner sales channel, strategic client relationships as well as several vertical markets. Previously, he held a variety of sales management positions at Cole-Haan, a division of Nike, focusing on training and expansion into new and existing markets.
Dave Hansen
VP of Marketing
Dave has more than 15 years of experience in marketing, communications and journalism. A former daily newspaper editor and writer, Dave has both corporate and start-up marketing experience in several industries including cellular, automotive and mortgage banking. He was the business editor of the South County Journal in suburban Seattle and has held various positions at other newspapers. Dave has written for numerous publications including the Seattle Times and Puget Sound Business Journal. He earned an M.B.A. in technology and innovation management from Pacific Lutheran University in Washington, and a B.A. in journalism from California State University, Sacramento.
Connie Oto-Lee
Director of Professional Services
Bringing a strong customer focus, Connie has more than 20 years of management and customer service experience. Prior to Liberty IMS, Connie was a senior manager at Taco Bell, where for five years she supervised several technical support teams. Among other responsibilities, she performed strategic planning, vendor management, business process optimization and standards management for more than 4,500 clients. She has also held positions as manager of global infrastructure; director of customer support for NetLOCK (formerly Hughes Information Systems), and director of professional services for MTI Technology. Connie earned her bachelor of arts from San Francisco State University.
